Good morning to some beautiful gardens
Up the logging road, there were some other courses up the mountain that looked interesting, but this one seems to be the most used.

The big accent was over quickly. I was sweaty, but expecting it to be tougher.

Great view looking towards our eventual goal.
We drank this water and it was fine. Great tasting and naturally cool too.

The greens were outstanding today.
Coming into Seifuku-ji we came across these special flowers.
That's where our next hike begins. Three more days to reach the ocean?

Great little scrambling bit to get to the top.
Looking down at Seifuku-ji from the small shine above it.
And down the mountain... we decided to go though 9 Ogre Village... a bit scary... （九鬼町）

Up an out and back to the top of Yakiyama? (焼山) was totally worth it.

We eventually popped out into that village.
Some of the trail down was difficult and slippery because of the leaves, however we didn't need our poles. Cool river with some hard rock waterfalls along the way down.
