感想

ロゼッタの軌跡

雪の影響でマッターホルンの日程が延期になったので、暇をつぶすためにソロでブライトホルンに登った。
初の4000m峰で絶景だった。8月とは思えない景色を見ることができた。
ルートはトレース明瞭で危険箇所もなかった
人生で初めてクレバスを見た
途中若干のホワイトアウトになったが、トレースが明瞭なおかげで大きな問題にはならなかった。
ロープウェーで標高を上げているせいか、酸素は薄いと感じた。
結局マッターホルンに挑戦することすら叶わなかったが、このブライトホルンの登山は強く思い出に残っている。

I climbed the Breithorn solo because the Matterhorn ascent was postponed by heavy snow.
It was my first time on a 4,000-meter peak, and the view was incredible. The scenery didn't feel like August at all.
The path was clear and not difficult. I saw my first-ever crevasse.
There was a whiteout for a bit, but the clear trail kept me from getting lost.
I felt the air was thin, likely because I gained altitude so quickly using the cable car.
Even though, I couldn't attempt the matterhorn in the end, the Breithorn climb was unforgettable.
